MFIT was founded by Ron Taylor and Dan Drew. Both started their careers as firefighters over 30 years ago. Dan continued his service with the Michigan State Police and is a current member of their Fire Investigation Unit. Ron serves in the private sector as a Fire Investigator. Both are equally passionate about the field of fire investigation, and are advocates for stronger accountability within the industry. Born out of a need for high-caliber training and continuing education within the State of Michigan, MFIT rapidly grew into something more.
